Today my Tokyoflash arrived. I ordered the new Negative chroom model.
It arrived in a really nice box. The watch was carefully packed with spongy material.
There was adhesive plastic around the wristband and the screen of the watch.
So the packing: no complaints.
Now the watch itself. As I removed the adhesive plastic I noticed really little caps on the edge of the chroom on the inside. The caps are on almost every link. If you go over the edge with your nail you can feel the little caps.
The wristband doesn't feel like polished silver, but like plastic.
Another problem is the wristband itself. When I tryed on the watc
h, the link between the band and the lock didn't seem strong, it felt like it was hanging loose. And I was right... With a slight touch of my fingers it came lo
ose.
Cause? The little metal bar between the link and the lock didn't fit properly in one of the two holes holding those two parts together (see last picture).
The watch isn't also recommend for people with small wrist (my wrist is 18cm circumference).
Positives: Unique piece, LED, slick design, alarm.
